1. 이 약관에 대하여
이 최종 사용자 라이선스 계약("약관")은 데스크탑 애플리케이션 Workpets — for Claude Code("앱")에 관하여 개발자 Ryan Kang(강륜구, "개발자")과 사용자("당신") 사이에 적용됩니다. 앱을 설치하거나 사용하면 이 약관에 동의한 것으로 봅니다. 동의하지 않으면 앱을 설치·사용하지 마세요.
2. 라이선스
무료 기능
앱의 무료 기능은 개인적·업무적 용도로 무료로 사용할 수 있는, 비독점적이고 양도 불가능한 라이선스로 제공됩니다.
프리미엄 (유료)
- 1회 결제, 구독 아님. 결제한 프리미엄 라이선스는 해당 메이저 제품에 대해 평생 유효합니다.
- 라이선스 키 1개로 최대 3대의 기기에서 활성화할 수 있습니다. 기기를 바꿀 땐 앱에서 해제 후 새 기기에서 활성화하면 됩니다.
- 개발자가 제공한 평생무료 코드(WP-FREE-…)는 프리미엄과 동일한 권한을 부여합니다.
- 라이선스 키·코드의 재판매·공유·공개 게시는 금지됩니다.
3. 결제와 환불
유료 결제는 판매 대행사(Merchant of Record)인 Lemon Squeezy(현 Stripe 계열)를 통해 처리됩니다. 결제 시점의 판매자는 Lemon Squeezy이며, 결제 정보(카드번호 등)는 개발자에게 전달되지 않습니다. 환불은 구매 후 14일 이내에 결제 확인 메일의 링크 또는 support@workpets.io 로 요청하면 사유를 묻지 않고 처리합니다. 환불 시 라이선스는 비활성화됩니다.
4. 제3자 서비스 — 꼭 알아두세요
- 앱은 당신의 Anthropic Claude 구독과 공식 claude CLI를 구동하는 도구입니다. Claude 이용에는 Anthropic의 약관·사용 정책이 그대로 적용되며, 그 준수는 당신의 책임입니다. 앱은 당신의 Anthropic 로그인 정보나 토큰을 수집·저장·전송하지 않습니다.
- Workpets는 Anthropic과 무관한 독립 제품입니다. Anthropic이 제작·후원·보증하지 않았습니다. Claude는 Anthropic PBC의 상표입니다.
- 원격 접속 기능은 Cloudflare의 터널 서비스를, 선택형 ChatGPT 에이전트 기능은 OpenAI의 서비스를 사용합니다. 각 서비스의 약관이 적용됩니다.
- claude CLI 설치에는 Node.js 등 제3자 소프트웨어가 필요할 수 있으며, 각각의 라이선스가 적용됩니다.
5. 당신의 책임 — 가장 중요한 조항
앱은 당신의 지시에 따라 AI가 당신 컴퓨터에서 파일을 읽고, 쓰고, 명령을 실행하게 하는 도구입니다. AI는 실수할 수 있습니다.
- AI에게 무엇을 지시할지, 그리고 결과물을 사용하기 전에 검토할지는 전적으로 당신의 판단과 책임입니다.
- 중요한 파일과 프로젝트는 반드시 백업하세요. 버전 관리(git 등) 사용을 강력히 권장합니다.
- 원격 접속을 켤 경우, 충분히 강한 비밀번호를 설정하고 관리할 책임은 당신에게 있습니다.
- 앱을 법령 위반, 타인의 권리 침해, 악성 코드 제작 등 불법적 목적에 사용해서는 안 됩니다.
6. 지적재산권
앱과 그 구성요소(캐릭터·디자인 포함)에 대한 권리는 개발자에게 있습니다. 단, 당신이 앱을 사용해 만든 산출물(코드·문서 등)은 당신의 것입니다. 법이 허용하는 범위를 넘는 역설계·재배포·2차 판매는 금지됩니다.
7. 업데이트
앱은 새 버전 확인을 위해 주기적으로 업데이트 서버에 접속하며, 업데이트 설치는 당신이 버튼을 눌렀을 때에만 진행됩니다. 개발자는 업데이트·신기능을 계속 제공하기 위해 노력하지만, 이를 법적으로 보증하지는 않습니다.
8. 보증의 부인과 책임 제한
앱은 "있는 그대로(AS-IS)" 제공되며, 특정 목적 적합성·무오류에 대한 보증을 하지 않습니다. 법이 허용하는 최대 범위에서, 앱 사용으로 발생한 간접·특별·결과적 손해(데이터 손실, 이익 상실 등)에 대해 개발자는 책임을 지지 않으며, 총 책임은 당신이 실제 지불한 금액을 한도로 합니다. 단, 개발자의 고의 또는 중대한 과실로 인한 손해, 그리고 소비자 보호를 위한 강행법규상 당신의 권리는 이 조항으로 제한되지 않습니다.
9. 계약의 종료
이 약관을 중대하게 위반하면(예: 키 재판매) 라이선스는 종료될 수 있습니다. 앱과 라이선스 키를 삭제하면 언제든 계약을 종료할 수 있습니다.
10. 기타
이 약관은 대한민국 법률에 따라 해석됩니다. 다만 당신이 다른 국가의 소비자인 경우 그 국가의 강행적 소비자 보호 규정이 우선할 수 있습니다. 약관이 변경되면 시행일과 함께 이 페이지에 게시하며, 중대한 변경은 앱 내에서 고지합니다.

1. About this agreement
This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") applies between you and the developer, Ryan Kang ("Developer"), regarding the desktop application Workpets — for Claude Code (the "App"). By installing or using the App you agree to this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.
2. License
Free features
The App's free features are licensed to you free of charge, on a non-exclusive, non-transferable basis, for personal and commercial use.
Premium (paid)
- One-time purchase, not a subscription. A Premium license is valid for the lifetime of the product line.
- One license key can be activated on up to 3 devices. Deactivate in the app to move to a new device.
- Lifetime-free codes (WP-FREE-…) issued by the Developer grant the same rights as Premium.
- Reselling, sharing, or publicly posting license keys or codes is prohibited.
3. Payment and refunds
Paid purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy as the Merchant of Record. Your payment details are never shared with the Developer. Refunds are available within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked — request via the link in your receipt email or support@workpets.io. Refunded licenses are deactivated.
4. Third-party services — please read
- The App is a tool that drives your own Anthropic Claude subscription and the official claude CLI. Your use of Claude is governed by Anthropic's terms and usage policies, and complying with them is your responsibility. The App does not collect, store, or transmit your Anthropic credentials or tokens.
- Workpets is an independent product, not affiliated with, endorsed, or sponsored by Anthropic. Claude is a trademark of Anthropic, PBC.
- The remote access feature uses Cloudflare tunnels; the optional ChatGPT agent feature uses OpenAI services. Their respective terms apply.
- Installing the claude CLI may require third-party software such as Node.js, each under its own license.
5. Your responsibilities — the most important section
The App lets AI read files, write files, and run commands on your computer, at your direction. AI can make mistakes.
- What you instruct the AI to do, and whether you review its output before relying on it, is entirely your judgment and responsibility.
- Back up important files and projects. Using version control (e.g. git) is strongly recommended.
- If you enable remote access, setting and safeguarding a strong password is your responsibility.
- Do not use the App for unlawful purposes, to infringe others' rights, or to create malicious software.
6. Intellectual property
The App and its components (including characters and design) belong to the Developer. However, anything you create using the App (code, documents, etc.) is yours. Reverse engineering beyond what applicable law permits, redistribution, and resale are prohibited.
7. Updates
The App periodically contacts the update server to check for new versions; updates are installed only when you choose to. The Developer strives to keep improving the App but does not legally guarantee future updates or features.
8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The App is provided "AS IS", without warranties of fitness for a particular purpose or error-free operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Developer is not liable for indirect, special, or consequential damages (including data loss or lost profits), and total liability is capped at the amount you actually paid. Nothing in this section limits liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or any rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law.
9. Termination
A material breach of this Agreement (e.g. reselling keys) may terminate your license. You may end this Agreement at any time by deleting the App and your license key.
10. Miscellaneous
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea; if you are a consumer in another jurisdiction, mandatory consumer protections of that jurisdiction may prevail. Changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date; material changes will be announced in the App.
